Faribault’s Ryan Kreager saw his stock rise to be considered the No. 1 senior in the state, but he didn’t wait long for his college decision following his summer AAU season.
The 6-10 four-star center and top prospect in Minnesota’s 2026 class by 247Sports.com announced his commitment on Wednesday to Loyola Chicago.
Kreager, who played on the D1 Minnesota 17U team that reached the Adidas 3SSB championship this month, also had scholarship offers from Drake, Miami (Ohio), Nevada and Northern Iowa.
“They have a great coaching staff,” Kreager told the Star Tribune on Wednesday. “And they have a big who plays there right now and he plays a lot like how I play. I can see myself in his position.”
